MOK HOUSE begins with a name shaped by perspective.
MOK is drawn from a personal foundation, created as a reversal that reflects the idea of looking back while building forward. It carries a sense of continuity, shaped by partnership, legacy, and the understanding that what is created today is informed by what came before it.
This perspective is grounded in Harry Sayers’ family history, which traces back to his great, great, great grandmother, Rosanna Mooney, born in Tasmania in 1853. The daughter of an Indigenous woman and a white man, she lived through a period marked by the violent displacement and systemic erasure of Aboriginal communities.
Very little is documented about her life, but what is known remains significant. She survived, she endured, and she continued.
That sense of continuation sits within MOK HOUSE, informing how the House is built and the intention behind the work.
Harry’s creative background began in music.
Growing up in Canberra, he co-founded SAFIA, an electronic indie band that went on to tour globally and establish a strong presence in Australia’s music landscape. Through years of writing, producing, and performing, he developed a practical understanding of how creative work is built, experienced, and refined over time.
This period shaped his creative instincts and provided firsthand experience working at scale, collaborating across disciplines, and delivering work to a broad audience.

As his career evolved, Harry moved into composition across film, advertising, and branded content through Electric Sheep Music, collaborating with partners including Panda Candy.
This work expanded his approach beyond music, strengthening his understanding of storytelling, brand alignment, and how creative ideas are translated into commercial outcomes. It also placed him within a broader network of creatives working across production, sound, and direction.

MOK HOUSE was established as a contemporary creative house bringing together multiple disciplines under one structure.
The House operates across brand, content, digital, and music through its divisions, including MOK Studio and MOK Music. Each project is approached by assembling the right specialists, ensuring work is delivered with both creative and strategic alignment.
Harry leads the music direction of the House and works closely across projects to shape creative outcomes in collaboration with the wider team.
Today, MOK HOUSE works across a range of industries, supporting brands, campaigns, and creative projects that require a considered and collaborative approach.
Harry’s background continues to inform the way the House operates, combining practical experience with a clear perspective on how creative work should be built, delivered, and experienced.
