Before MOK HOUSE existed as a collective, there was a studio practice defined by restraint, instinct, and care. That practice lives on as MOK Studio, the in-house creative studio of the House, led by Kelly Sayers, formally known as Kell Mendoza.
The Studio formed the creative language that MOK HOUSE is built upon. Its sensibility, pace, and attention to detail continue to shape how the House approaches every project today.
MOK Studio operates as the quiet, heritage arm of MOK HOUSE. It is the in-house studio where foundational creative work takes place. Brand identity, visual systems, packaging, and early-stage direction that requires depth, focus, and intimacy.
As the House grows, MOK Studio is intentionally evolving into a dedicated division within MOK HOUSE, grounded in Kelly’s expertise and creative leadership. This allows the House to scale while preserving a centre of craft and consistency.
Kelly serves as Director of MOK Studio and as part of the leadership of MOK HOUSE. Her role is to guide creative standards, shape visual language, and lead select Studio projects where her expertise is most valuable.
For smaller, design-led engagements, Kelly remains hands-on through the Studio. For larger or multi-disciplinary projects, she works alongside the House roster, helping set direction and ensure the work remains aligned with the House’s creative values.
MOK Studio represents the quieter side of the House. The side that values refinement over noise, intention over trend, and longevity over speed.
The Studio’s work is characterised by considered typography, restrained colour, and systems that feel timeless rather than reactive. It is luxury in its truest form, not ornamental, but deeply intentional.
